- 1+ years of software development, or 1+ years of technical support experience
- Experience troubleshooting and debugging technical systems
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Computer Science/ Mathematics or any related field or a minimum of 1+ years of related professional and/or military experience and knowledge or experience with system administration, and troubleshooting any operating system (Linux and/or Windows) and networking (HTTP/s, TCP/IP, DNS, OSI model, routing, switching, firewalls, LAN/WAN, traceroute, iperf, dig, CURL or related) or experience with OS administration (boot process, filesystems) and troubleshooting disk space issues, booting issues and OS logs.
- You will be primarily responsible for solving customer’s cases through a variety of contact channels (telephone, email, and web/live chat), applying advanced troubleshooting techniques to provide tailored solutions and working with them to dive deep into the root cause of an issue.
- You will drive initiatives that improve support-related processes and our customers’ experience. These can include tutorials, how-to videos, technical articles, trainings, among others.
- You will leverage your customer support experience to provide feedback to internal our teams on how to improve our services, and work on critical, highly complex customer problems that may span multiple AWS services.
- You will be continuously learning groundbreaking technologies, and developing new technical skills and other professional competencies.
- You will act as interviewer in hiring processes, and coach/mentor new team members. This role requires the flexibility to work 5 days a week (occasionally on weekends) on a rotational basis. Schedules may align to Sunday - Thursday, Tuesday – Saturday or Monday - Friday. A day in the life Your day as a Cloud Support Engineer will include, but not be limited to, the following activities.

Position Summary:
- Develop and maintain reports using tools like Microsoft PowerBI, Oracle Business Intelligence Applications (OBIA), Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE), and other data visualization platforms.
- Perform database programming tasks, including SQL/PLSQL development and object-oriented programming.
- Perform general scripting and programming tasks in a variety of language as the need arises.
- Conduct data analysis to support business requirements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather report requirements and ensure accuracy and relevance of reports.
- Explore and implement new technologies and methodologies to improve report development processes.
- Potentially work with ETL tools like ODI for data integration and transformation tasks.
- Interface with various APIs to facilitate movement of data between applications and databases.
- Communicate effectively with internal IT partners and end users to ensure understanding and compliance with report requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field
- 5+ years of experience working in application development
- Proficiency in report development using tools like PowerBI, OBIA, OBIEE and data visualization.
- Strong SQL/PLSQL database programming skills.
- Strong Object-oriented programming skills.
- Sound knowledge of Oracle and SQL Server databases.
- Knack for data analysis.
- Familiarity with ETL tools like Oracle Data Integrator would be a plus.
- Willingness to learn new and upcoming technologies such as AI, Microsoft Copilot, and Oracle Data Integrator.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices.
- Experience with version control systems like GitHub.
- Experience with Oracle Financial ERP modules is preferred.
- Relevant IT certifications a plus.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure and Oracle Cloud.

- Use Excel tools to produce relevant reports for all levels of the organization based on the project or ad hoc request. Analyze data to identify trends and root causes in merchant controlled processes. Summarize and prepare findings for both executive and operational team use.
- Perform ad hoc data pulls and analysis to solve one-off data inquiries. This includes using existing reporting tools (e.g. RDW) as well as learning potentially new tools.
- Support the business in understanding and assessing new tools and reporting needs for the Merch Ops team. This includes determining ways to improve existing tools and reports, create job aides to support report use, and provide ideas for what new insights and analytics are needed.
- Identify opportunities to improve the end-to-end reporting process. Look for ways to improve the speed and quality that information is pulled and delivered. Partner with the Manager to implement changes, as needed.
